"A trip to Sunol is like a trip to the country...When you hike the grassy, oak-studded hills...all you see are more grassy, oak-studded hills...It is protected land surrounded by protected land."

There is another quote in the text where she states "It is steep in places, so come prepared for a hike that feels like a bit more than 6 miles." She was not kidding. In some places it feels like you are going straight up.
The highlight of this park for people appears to be "Little Yosemite" which is a little rock canyon with a small stream running through. After all the hullabaloo, I was very disappointed and felt like I had added a lot of uphill just to check it out. I felt obligated to take a picture after going out of my way to see it, but couldn't get a good shot that wouldn't show one of the many sunbathers who were exposing more flesh than they should have. So I gave up.
Otherwise there were some pretty views, cow/horse patties, and single engine planes flying overhead. I may head to the gun shop to find some surface-to-air missiles for my next hike. I wonder how much they weigh.
These are low res pictures. I can send you higher quality pictures if you want them
